Gwenael FLATRES

Gwenael FLATRES has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gwenael is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Glaze, a company that provides agile solutions for businesses to drive conversions on their websites. Gwenael has been with Glaze since October 2015.

In 2016, Gwenael was an Alumni at Microsoft Accelerator Paris, where they were part of a program focused on mature, fast-growing startups. Gwenael was associated with the program from March to July 2016.

Before Glaze, they were a Co-Founder at Rockhem (Former R&C Media), a global marketing agency that specializes in building conversion-focused digital ecosystems and marketing strategies for events organizations, entertainment content, and lifestyle brands. Gwenael was with Rockhem from November 2012 to January 2016, with offices in New York, Boston, and Paris.

In 2011, Gwenael founded and served as the CEO of UbiQ Events. UbiQ Paris was the first international B2B event in Europe fully dedicated to the digital entertainment industry. The event took place in June 2012 in Paris and gathered participants from over 30 countries.

Gwenael was also the President of New Media X-Port from November 2010 to September 2011, a company that specializes in new media development.

Prior to that, Gwenael worked as a Business Development Manager at Reed MIDEM - a member of Reed Exhibitions from February 2006 to November 2010. Gwenael was responsible for the development of MIPTV and MIPCOM.

Gwenael worked as an International Business Development Manager at EurodataTV Worldwide/MEDIAMETRIE from November 2001 to February 2006.

In 1999, Gwenael was a Project Manager at Lagardère Publicité, where they were involved in the production of the first E-Learning platform for media purchasing. Gwenael also contributed to the creation of international research groups on interactive TV and online communities.

Gwenael FLATRES completed a DESS (MASTER2) degree in Droit et Administration de la Communication Audiovisuelle from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, starting in 1999 and finishing in 2000. In addition, Gwenael FLATRES obtained several certifications, including Scientipôle Initiative from Scientipôle in October 2016, Alumni Microsoft Accelerator from Microsoft in August 2016, AIMA from Bpifrance in July 2016, and Bourse French Tech from La French Tech in July 2016.
