Pradnya Karbhari

Pradnya Karbhari is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and product development. Currently serving as an Engineering Leader at Glean since July 2024, Pradnya previously held the role of Vice President of Engineering at Swiggy from January 2020 to September 2023, overseeing significant engineering and product initiatives in Location Intelligence, Trust & Safety, Ads, and Growth Platforms. As Co-Founder and CTO of Makesto Infotech Private Limited from January 2016 to December 2019, Pradnya directed R&D and engineering efforts in deep tech solutions within the video/AR domain, including the launch of the Point105-AR service. Prior experience includes entrepreneurship and a notable tenure as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, recognized with the Founders’ Award for contributions to the Search Based Keyword Tool. Pradnya's early internships at AT&T Labs-Research further established a solid foundation in content delivery and web technology. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
