Rohan Dhoopar has six years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2016, they were an Engineering Intern at CipherCloud. In 2017, they were a Developer Programs Engineer Intern at Google, where they developed features for A/B testing ad campaigns and for integration with Google Slides. In 2018, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Google Brain, where they explored new deep learning models for Google Duplex natural language understanding. Also in 2018, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Princeton University, where they researched Neural Machine Translation (NMT). From 2019 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Google, where they applied the latest developments from machine/deep learning research in natural language processing to Google products. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Glean, where they are working on language modeling (LLM), query understanding, semantic search, ML infrastructure, and more.
Rohan Dhoopar attended Bellarmine College Preparatory from 2011 to 2015. Rohan then went on to Princeton University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science in 2019.
