Tushar Narula

Tushar Narula has a diverse work experience, beginning with Tata Consultancy Services in 2014 as a Big Data Support Engineer, where they were responsible for troubleshooting mapreduce and spark jobs and hive queries run on Cloudera platform, as well as troubleshooting issues in ETL pipelines and writing hql scripts. In 2017, they joined Qubole as a Big Data Solutions Engineer, where they were responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing ETL Pipeline written in Hive and Spark, consulting best practices to write hive queries and pyspark code, and troubleshooting and resolving issues related to different big data processing engines (spark, hive, MapReduce), AWS and basic linux issues. In 2021, Tushar Narula began working at Snowflake as a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, and at Databricks as a Platform Technical Solutions Engineer. Tushar is currently working at Glean as a Customer Solutions Engineer.

Tushar Narula obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Aligarh Muslim University between 2010 and 2014. Tushar has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, MapR Technologies, and IBM, including Advanced SQL for Data Scientists (LinkedIn, 2018), Excel: PivotTables for Beginners (LinkedIn, 2018), DEV 361 - Build and Monitor Apache Spark Applications (MapR Technologies, 2016), DEV 360 - Apache Spark Essentials (MapR Technologies, 2016), and Spark - Level 1 (IBM, 2016).
