Alex Leamy

Alex Leamy has extensive experience in public affairs and communications, currently serving as the Manager of Public Affairs at Glen Eira City Council since July 2022, where responsibilities expanded to include community reporting and business insights. Previous roles include Manager of Communications, Engagement and Advocacy at Glen Eira City Council, and Advocacy Lead, where Alex developed the Council's first dedicated advocacy function. Notable prior positions include Assistant Director of Communications at the National Disability Insurance Agency, Head of Corporate Communications at Lincoln Indicators, and Communications Advisor at Dairy Australia. Alex began a career in political communication as a Media and Communications Officer for Queensland Parliament.
