Bill Spencer has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Bill currently works as the Group Sales Manager at Glen Eyrie Castle & Conference Center. Prior to that, they were a Fundraiser at The Navigators from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they volunteered at John Zay Guest House - Penrose Hospital for a brief period in 2019. Bill previously held the position of Director of Social Services & Admissions at Parkview Manor from 2011 to 2019. Bill also worked as a Social Services Designee at Atrium Village from 2014 to 2016. Before that, they were the Director of Public Relations & Development at Pleasantview Home from 2002 to 2009. Furthermore, Bill served as the Assistant Director of Gift Planning at the University of Iowa from 1999 to 2002. Bill began their career with a Fellowship in Community Service at the El Pomar Foundation from 1997 to 1999.
Bill Spencer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Economy from Colorado College in 1996. Bill then pursued a Certificate in Long-Term Care Administration at Des Moines Area Community College, which they completed in 2012. In August 2013, Bill obtained an Iowa Nursing Home Administrator License.
