Tom Grandgent

Tom Grandgent has over 20 years of work experience in software development. Tom started their career in 1996 as a Lead Programmer at Canvas Link, Inc., where they developed awning visualization software and multimedia training CD-ROMs. Tom also built company websites and administered hosting services. In 2001, they worked as a Consulting Programmer for ACT LABS. From 2005 to 2009, they served as a Software Engineer at AccuSoft Corporation, where they developed and maintained a cross-platform imaging toolkit. Tom was responsible for image processing, OCR/barcode recognition, and GUI control development. In 2009, they joined ZipHarvest Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they developed a database-driven website and managed the automated build and deployment process. Tom then worked as a Software Developer at Tri Vantage, LLC from 2009 to 2011. Currently, they are a Senior Software Developer at Glen Raven, Inc.

Tom Grandgent earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they attended from 1998 to 2004. Later, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued Japanese language studies at the Japanese Online Institute, although they did not earn a degree in that field.
