Mackenzie Brown

Mackenzie Brown is an Indigenous Tourism Entrepreneur and Executive Advisor for Indigenous Engagement, currently residing in Amiskwaciwaskahikan, Edmonton. A member of the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, Mackenzie holds a Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care Services and has worked extensively with at-risk First Nations youth, incorporating alternative therapy and traditional arts into her programs. Mackenzie has served as an Indigenous Tourism Developer for the Government of Alberta and is the Director of Industry Development at Indigenous Tourism Alberta. Mackenzie performs as part of the duo "Warrior Women" alongside her mother, engaging audiences with their drumming and cultural education across Alberta. In addition to her artistic and advocacy pursuits, Mackenzie has earned numerous awards for her community service and volunteer work.
