Elizabeth Colsen

Elizabeth Colsen, MD, FACS, serves as a General Surgeon at Glencoe Regional Health since September 2021 and holds the position of Vice President at Women Anglers of Minnesota, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and children in fishing. With extensive surgical experience, Elizabeth has been a Critical Care Surgeon for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since July 2014 and has performed a wide range of general, minimally invasive, and bariatric surgeries at various healthcare organizations, including GLACIAL RIDGE HEALTH SYSTEM and the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Elizabeth completed advanced fellowships in Minimally Invasive/Bariatric Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the University of Minnesota and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
