Claudio Angelo Pettigiani is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in metals, minerals, and coal. Currently serving as Global Senior Compliance Officer at Glencore since August 2021, Claudio spearheads the compliance program across Europe, the Middle East, and the Former Soviet Union. Previous roles include managerial positions at Alvarez & Marsal and EY, where Claudio focused on compliance and investigative services. Claudio's career in forensic investigations began at KPMG UK, supported by a robust academic background that includes a Master’s Degree in International Security Studies from the University of St Andrews and a post-graduate degree specializing in Criminal Law and Criminology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
