Peter Ensink has extensive experience in the freight trading and ocean transportation sectors, currently working at Glencore since September 2019. Prior to that, Peter held roles at SwissMarine Services S.A. as a Trading and Chartering professional and worked as an Independent Consultant in 2016, providing strategic insights to a European power plant. From 2012 to 2016, Peter served as Global Platform Head for Ocean Freight at Louis Dreyfus Commodities, overseeing a large global team and implementing strategic restructuring. Peter's career began at Cargill, where positions included Supramax Trading Manager and Handy Trading Manager, managing teams and integrating various trading operations. Peter holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University.
