Traian Marchis

Traian Marchis is an experienced IT professional with over two decades of expertise in infrastructure management and services. Currently serving as the Head of Core IT Services and IT Infrastructure Manager at Glencore since April 2012, Traian manages the Enterprise Infrastructure for Glencore Oil & Gas. Previous roles include Lead Infrastructure Analyst for Treasury IT Operations at Shell, Infrastructure Team Lead at Gazprom Marketing and Trading, System Analyst at Slaughter and May, Global Systems Administrator at Livingston Group, and PC/LAN Administrator at ING. Traian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Technical University Cluj Napoca, earned between 1992 and 1997.
