Elena Bolbolian

Elena Bolbolian has extensive work experience with the City of Glendale, CA. Elena has held various roles within the organization, including Chief Innovation Officer, Director of Innovation, Performance and Audit, Deputy Director, Principal Administrative Officer/Executive Officer to Oversight Board, Administrative Analyst/Sr. Administrative Analyst/Project Manager, Public Education Assistant, and Program Specialist. Their experience spans from 1993 to the present, showcasing their commitment and dedication to the City of Glendale.

Elena Bolbolian began their education at Herbert Hoover High School, where they obtained a Diploma in General Education from 1994 to 1997. Elena then attended Los Angeles Valley College from 1998 to 1999 and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies. Elena later pursued higher education at UCLA from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Elena furthered their studies at California State University, Northridge from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public Administration. Elena also holds an additional certification in Innovation - Human Centered Design, obtained from Bloomberg Philanthropies in 2020.
