Darshini Bangaru

Darshini Bangaru is a Strategic Planner at Glenorchy City Council, recognized with the ‘Staff Achievement - Together We are Better Award’ for contributions during 2022-2023 and serves as the representative Council Planner for the Technical Reference Group on the Tasmanian Residential Standards Review project. Previously, Darshini held the position of Vice President on the PIA TAS Committee, Senior Planning Officer, and Planning Officer at Kingborough Council, where recognition as a nominee for the ‘PIA TAS Young Planner of the Year Award’ occurred. Initial roles included Graduate Planner at Levy Planning, Field Surveyor and GIS Analyst at the City of Sydney, and Graduate Architect in India, coupled with various internships. Darshini Bangaru holds a Master of Urbanism from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Architecture from McGan's Ooty School of Architecture.
