Tamera King

Tamera King is an experienced arts professional with a diverse background in coordination, curation, and public engagement within various esteemed cultural institutions. Currently serving as Collections Coordinator and Public Engagement Coordinator at Glenstone Museum since March 2023, Tamera has previously held roles such as Arts Officer at the City of South Perth and Visual Arts Officer at the City of Joondalup, where responsibilities included managing exhibitions and fostering community relationships. Tamera's extensive curatorial experience spans positions at Experimenta Media Arts, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, along with internships at The Museum of Modern Art and Guggenheim Museum, highlighting a solid foundation in contemporary arts. Tamera’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) from Curtin University, a Diploma of Arts (Fine Art) from Claremont School of Art, and a Bachelor of Communication from Edith Cowan University.
