Safety Culture Change Lead at Glenveagh Properties PLC

Paula Mumford has extensive work experience in the field of health and safety. Paula is currently working as the Safety Culture Change Lead at Glenveagh Properties PLC since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SeaChange Ltd. from 2017 to 2021, holding various roles including Corporate EHS Advisor/ Corporate Stream Lead, Health and Safety Team Manager, and Senior H&S Account Manager. From 2011 to 2017, Paula served as the Group Health and Safety Officer at Height for Hire Ltd, where they played a key role in the hire and safety training of access machinery. Paula also worked briefly as a Health and Safety Advisor at Leo Lynch Engineering Contractors in 2011. In addition, Paula has experience as a Site Health and Safety Officer at John Sisk and Son Construction LLC from 2006 to 2010, managing health and safety for a high-rise commercial building project. Paula started their career in 2005 as a Health and Safety Advisor at L. Lynch & Co. Ltd, where they also served as the Environmental Coordinator for a large-scale project.

Paula Mumford started their education at University College Dublin in 1999 and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. Paula then pursued further education at the same institution from 2005 to 2007, earning a Higher Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work. In 2008, they attended Maynooth University and obtained a Certificate in Training and Continuing Education.

In addition to their formal education, Paula Mumford has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed a Health and Safety Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment course at SQT Training Ltd. In 2013, they obtained a Lean Yellow Belt from Lean 2 Innovative Thinking. Paula also holds a Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management from NEBOSH, obtained in 2012. In the same year, they became a FETAC Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor through the Further Education and Training Awards Council. In 2010, they acquired certifications as a Patient Lifting Instructor from HC Training Services Ltd. and as a Nutrition and Health Coach from ITEC and FETAC. Lastly, in 2014, they became an Occupational First Aider through the Further Education and Training Awards Council.
