Carolyn Ramirez

Carolyn Ramirez is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience at Glenview Public Library since 1998, where responsibilities include assisting patrons with various library services and contributing to the library blog. Previously, from 2000 to 2007, Carolyn served as a Spanish Product Manager at Independent Publishers Group, focusing on developing the Spanish division and managing trade distribution for both adult and children's books. Earlier in Carolyn’s career, from 1994 to 1998, Carolyn worked at Holt McDougal as an Associate Product Manager, contributing to the management of a $30 million product line and providing strategic feedback to the sales team. Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Spanish Language Teacher Education from the University of Illinois Chicago.
