Denise Dixon

Denise Dixon is an experienced occupational therapist currently serving at Glenwood, Inc. since March 2020, focusing on improving occupational performance and educational participation for students with autism and emotional disorders. Previously, Denise held roles as a tutor and peer mentor at the UAB Student Athletic Success Center from September 2018 to February 2022, and as assistant director at the Autism Society of North Carolina from August 2014 to January 2017. Educational qualifications include a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2018-2020) and a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2008-2012), along with coursework completed at the School for International Training in 2011.
