Samuel Hutson

Samuel Hutson is a Graduate Assistant at the University of Kentucky since July 2022, with extensive experience in facility operations and sports management. Samuel currently supervises the daily operations of the Student Recreation Center and the Witt Center, effectively managing teams, responding to emergencies, and ensuring overall safety and satisfaction for users. Previous roles include Supervisor and Operations Associate at the University Recreation Facility Operations, where Samuel was responsible for access management and equipment checkout across multiple sports facilities. Additionally, Samuel has experience as a Contractor with Glenwood, Inc., and as an Associate with JJ Excavation, focusing on renovation and landscaping. Samuel completed an internship at Drayer Physical Therapy Institute, assisting in rehabilitation services, and holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky, expected in May 2024, along with a Science Associate's degree from Calhoun Community College and undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama.
