Ian Plimbley

Ian Plimbley is an experienced technical and project manager with a diverse background in the events and theatre industries. Currently serving as Technical Director at Roll Up and Rock since April 2023, Ian has also held the position of Cluster 3 Manager for Containment during the Birmingham Commonwealth Games at GL events UK from February 2022. Prior to these roles, Ian was a Freelance Project Manager from January 2019 to May 2023. Additional experience includes working as an Account Manager at Stage One, Deputy Head of Stage & Flys at Belgrade Theatre, and Stores/Production Manager at Imagine Theatre from 2000 to 2016.
