Margot Fournier

Clinical Research Manager at GliaPharm

Margot Fournier has extensive experience in clinical research and molecular mechanisms. Margot began their career in 2004 as a PhD student at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, where they characterized a mouse model of Parkinson disease and supervised a lab-technician and two master students. In 2009, they became a Post-doctoral fellow at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they conducted a study on protein turn-over in neurodegenerative disorder. In 2011, they joined CHUV | Lausanne university hospital as a Senior Researcher, where they conducted translational studies on the role of the antioxidant system in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Clinical Research Manager at GliaPharm SA.

Margot Fournier is currently pursuing a DAS in Management of Clinical Trials at the University of Geneva, which they began in 2021. Margot also holds a PhD in Neurosciences from the Pierre and Marie Curie University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained a Sponsor-Investigator in Human Research certification from Swissethics in March 2016.
