Joel Zdepski

Joel Zdepski has an extensive work experience, beginning in 1992 as Group Head of the Video Communications Lab at the David Sarnoff Research Center. In 1995, they joined OpenTV as SVP Technology and Chief Architect, and later as Curmudgeon. In 2011, they established their own consulting business, Joel Zdepski Consulting. In 2012, they became self-employed. In 2017, they co-founded Hazel.ai, a consumer solution for guided physical therapy, where they oversaw development of a mobile client for patients and developed the cloud components in Node, MongoDB with NLU from DialogFlow. In 2018, they joined Pat Inc. as a Product Advisor and WelcomeTV as an Advisor. Joel currently serves as Co-Founder of Glidr Inc. since 2020.

Joel Zdepski obtained their PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
