Tal Hornstein

Tal Hornstein, CISSP, is an Information Security executive with 25+ years of industry experience in multiple security-related startups and tech firms. After 5 years at Globality Inc. and 13 years with Skybox Security, he joined Hippo Insurance as their Chief Information Security Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for information security, user education and risk governance. Tal started his career at the Israeli Defense Forces and continued to hone his expertise building AI-based intrusion protection systems, perimeter security appliances and anomaly detection algorithms. He enjoys applying his knowledge and experience to current business challenges by lacing complex processes with Infosec spices, at minimum cost and disruption.
