Dr. Ivars Kronis

Dr. Ivars KRONIS currently serves as a Board Member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and has been a Partner at GLIMSTEDT since October 2017. Dr. KRONIS is also an Assistant Professor at Rīga Stradiņš University since November 2022 and has held the position of Arbitrator at The Riga Permanent Court of Arbitrage since September 2002. The academic career includes serving as a Senior Researcher at Riga Stradins University from October 2010 to October 2022 and as an Associate Professor at the Baltic International Academy from September 2010 to April 2020. Additionally, Dr. KRONIS was a Certified Administrator of the Insolvency Procedure from May 2004 to June 2018, and was a Partner at Magnusson from October 2015 to September 2017, as well as at the law firm KRONIS & KRONIS from June 2006 to September 2015. Dr. KRONIS holds a Doctor of Social Sciences in Law from Mykolas Romeris University and a Master of International and European Law from Riga Graduate School of Law.
