Robert Mears

Robert Mears has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial and business management field. Robert began their career as a Commercial Director at International Clothing Designs Limited, where they worked for three years. Robert then joined Nevica Technical Sportsystem Limited as a Managing Director, leading the company for seven years. After that, they served as the Finance Director at Maharishi for four years. Since 2008, they have been working as a Managing Director and Finance Director in a freelance capacity, specializing in fashion, clothing, and retail industries, as well as technology sectors, particularly FinTech. In 2021, Mears joined Glisser as the Head of Finance, contributing to the development of their award-winning virtual and hybrid event hosting platform.

Robert Mears attended City, University of London from 1986 to 1989, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to enroll at ICAEW from 1989 to 1992. During this time, they obtained the Chartered Accountant ACA qualification.
