Daniel Fernandez is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cloud security and information security. Currently serving as a Security Engineer II at CrowdStrike since March 2024, Daniel previously held the same title at Outreach, where responsibilities included the implementation of a cloud native application protection platform and multi-cloud security controls. Daniel's career began at Best Buy, advancing from Information Security Intern to Associate Information Security Engineer, where significant achievements included reducing cloud service provider misconfigurations and enhancing vulnerability detection through automation. Daniel holds an MBA in Technology Management from Colorado Technical University and a BS in Information Technology and Cybersecurity from Colorado State University Global.
