Edwin Torres

Edwin Torres has extensive work experience in the field of IT, spanning multiple industries and roles. Edwin most recently served as the Vice President of Global ICT at Global Advanced Metals, where they provided strategic vision and leadership for the company's global ICT infrastructure. Prior to this, Torres held the position of Global IT Director at Global Advanced Metals, managing the global IT team across multiple locations. Before joining Global Advanced Metals, they worked as an IT Leader at Roche Diabetes Care, responsible for managing the local IT team at the Puerto Rico Diabetes Care Manufacturing Operations. Torres also served as an Enterprise IT Director and IT Manager at Checkpoint Systems, where they oversaw global business processes and managed ERP rollouts. Edwin began their career as a Computer Operator and progressed through various roles at Digital Equipment Corporation. Overall, Torres has a strong background in IT management, project management, and strategic leadership.

From 1982 to 1987, Edwin Torres attended the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Information Systems.
