Katie Burgess

Katie Burgess is a seasoned communications professional with experience in various roles focused on digital communications and public relations. Since November 2021, Katie has served as a Communications Advisor at Global Affairs Canada. Prior to this position, Katie worked at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat from January 2017 to November 2021, holding titles such as Digital Communications Advisor, Social Media Officer, and Digital Communications Officer. Katie also gained valuable experience at GoodLife Fitness as a Customer Service Representative from May 2013 to September 2018 and as a Junior Project Officer at Service Canada from February 2016 to January 2017. Katie holds an Honours Bachelor of Public Relations from the University of Ottawa and a Public Relations diploma from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
