Rob Scaife

Rob Scaife is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in consular emergency response and information technology, having served at Global Affairs Canada since April 1998. Rob has also played a significant role in the Rotary Club of South Nepean, including a term as Past-President and the ongoing organization of the Taste of Barrhaven event. A dedicated IT Analyst at the Department of Foreign Affairs from 1998 until November 2023, Rob specialized in software quality analysis, network management, and project implementation for Canadian diplomatic missions globally. Additional experience includes developing web and database solutions for Rotary International District 7040 and managing hospitality operations at various hotels in Russia during the early 1990s. Rob’s educational background includes a B.A. in European Studies from the University of Toronto and diplomas in Internet Application Programming and Information Technology from Algonquin College.
