Ryan Clark

Ryan Clark is the Executive Director of PanAfrican Affairs at Global Affairs Canada, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Ryan served as Minister-Counsellor and Head of Development Cooperation and in various roles focused on bilateral development programs, particularly in Colombia, managing significant funding in areas such as agriculture and rural education. Ryan has extensive experience in international development, including leadership positions at the Government of Canada and the Canadian International Development Agency, where responsibilities included food security and agriculture policies. With a solid academic background, including a Master's in Science from Royal Roads University and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Ryan is also fluent in Spanish following language training at the Canadian Foreign Service Institute.
