Sharon Pinney

Sharon Pinney is a seasoned public relations executive currently serving as the Public Affairs, Culture and Communications Manager at the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney since January 2001, where responsibilities include promoting Canada's relationships with Australia. Prior experience includes working as a Cultural Affairs Assistant at the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney from January 1995 to December 2000 and serving as a Finance and Administration Coordinator for the Biennale of Sydney from 1993 to 1994. Sharon holds a Graduate Diploma of Management (Arts) from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Visual Arts from the University of Wollongong. Additionally, education was received at Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario, Canada, from 1984 to 1986.
