Sophie Norton

Sophie Norton is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in web strategy and program advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Web Strategist at Global Affairs Canada since June 2023, Sophie is responsible for managing the International trade web portfolio. Previously, Sophie held senior program advisory positions at Employment and Social Development Canada from May 2022 to May 2023 and as a Program Advisor from March 2020 to January 2022. Sophie began her career as a Marketing Specialist at RealDecoy, followed by a Marketing Lead role at YoppWorks where Sophie implemented digital marketing initiatives and enhanced brand visibility. Early experience includes managing cosmetics sales and promotions at Nordstrom. Sophie holds a B.A. Honours in Communication Studies with a Minor in Psychology from Carleton University.
