Kristen Willard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and management within nonprofit and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Education for the Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform since September 2023, Kristen develops and disseminates evidence-based educational resources for member organizations addressing allergy and airway diseases. Prior to this role, Kristen was Vice President of Public and Professional Education at the COPD Foundation, where responsibilities included overseeing educational supports for individuals with COPD and their caregivers. Kristen's career also includes significant positions at Georgetown University Medical Center, CESSI, and Axiom Resource Management, where project management and team leadership were key. Kristen holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from James Madison University.

GAAPP Mission: To globally support and empower patients with allergies, airways and atopic diseases by protecting their rights and insisting on the duties of governments, healthcare professionals and the general public. GAAPP Objectives: To establish a global network to empower patients with allergies, airways and atopic diseases by: - Working together with governmental and health-care organizations to minimize the impact of allergies, asthma, COPD, atopic dermatitis and urticaria - Being an equal partner involved in the decision-making from inception to conclusion with global health-care organizations - Facilitating the founding of patient organizations in emerging countries fighting for best-practice therapy To support the worldwide community managing allergies, airways and atopic diseases by: - Assisting patients to take an active role in managing their disease and empowering those who support them in the process - Demanding unpolluted healthy air for patients - Collaborating with member organizations to help with health and social policy concerns -Aid emerging countries with the necessary diagnostic and therapeutic remedies for patients
