Angela Herring Page has extensive experience in strategy, engagement, and science communication within the fields of genomics and health. Currently serving as Director of Strategy and Engagement at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since August 2014, Angela has held various roles, including communications lead for the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH). Angela's background includes significant contributions to traditional and digital media, having worked as a science writer at Northeastern University and freelance writer for organizations such as Novartis and Harvard University’s Stem Cell Institute. With a solid foundation in chemistry from Bennington College, Angela has combined scientific expertise with effective communication to enhance public understanding of complex scientific topics. Additionally, Angela serves as Board Secretary for GA4GH Inc. since January 2022.

Global Alliance for Genomics and Health
The Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) is an international, nonprofit alliance formed in 2013 to accelerate the potential of research and medicine to advance human health. Bringing together 500+ leading organizations working in healthcare, research, patient advocacy, life science, and information technology, the GA4GH community is working together to create frameworks and standards to enable the responsible, voluntary, and secure sharing of genomic and health-related data. All of our work builds upon the Framework for Responsible Sharing of Genomic and Health-Related Data.
