Denaya Shorter has a background in wildlife biology and urban environmental education. Denaya has worked in various roles including wildlife biologist for the US Forest Service and as a program director in community engagement and education at organizations such as Waste Management and the Ecology Center. Denaya currently holds the position of Senior Director of US & Canada Region at GAIA, where Denaya leads the organization's work in the United States.
