Richard Meyer

Richard Meyer serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer at VATWIRE, overseeing financial services focused on foreign VAT and dividend withholding tax reclamation since January 2017. Additionally, Richard holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for Global Blue South Africa, leading tax-free shopping and payment solutions across Africa since March 2021. Richard has been the Executive Chairman of Interactive Telephony since October 2005 and previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Label Connect until July 2015. Richard's background in financial services includes a role as an Investment Banker at Genesis Capital from 1999 to 2005 and earlier experience as Head of Sales at Red Bull from 1997 to 1998. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Auditing and Business Economics from the University of South Africa.
