Deepika S

Deepika S began their professional career in 2013 as a Student Assistant at Lamar University, where they provided high quality campus life events planning and management support, as well as reception duties and mail handling.

In 2015, Deepika S joined Global Bridge InfoTech Inc. as a Cloud/DevOps Architect, where they worked on installation and configuration of GITLAB in Docker for organizational level and on-boarded source codes of different teams. Deepika also improved Jenkins Architecture for better performance in Organization and On-boarded multiple applications for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. In the same year, they also joined Technodrive Business Solutions Inc. as an Embedded Software Intern, where they developed and maintained test plans and metrics for reporting through an ALM process, coded OOPS based algorithms using C++ and python, and prepared root cause analysis to diagnose issues in product and processes.

At Global Bridge InfoTech Inc., Deepika S also worked as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer, where they evaluated performance of EC2 instances their CPU, Memory Usage and setting up EC2 Security Groups and VPC. Deepika also designed EC2 instance architecture to meet high availability application architecture and security parameters, and designed the application layer of the product with EC2, RDS (MySQL), and Elastic Cache, and configured AWS Cloud Watch for application monitoring. Lastly, they worked as a Linux Administrator, where they were involved in writing Bash scripting for monitoring system usage, backup and recovery strategies, automation of jobs, and adding new services to the system.

Deepika S obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2013. Deepika then pursued their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Lamar University from 2013 to 2014.
