Jacky Habib

Jacky Habib is an accomplished journalist and communications consultant with over a decade of experience reporting on social justice, humanitarian issues, and women's rights across multiple countries in Africa. Current roles include reporter for Global Citizen, where Jacky covers global health stories, and associate facilitator for Informed Opinions, providing media training to increase representation in the media. Previous positions include lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University, regional multimedia reporter for CARE, and reporter for outlets such as NPR, CBC, and the Toronto Star. Jacky holds a Master’s in Social Innovation from Cambridge Judge Business School and an Honours degree in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University, supplemented by a certificate in Non-Profit and Voluntary Sector Management.
