Kris Verbruggen

Kris Verbruggen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in logistics and transportation. Currently serving as a Transportation Board Member at the Global Cold Chain Alliance and as a Board Member at ARMIR Logistics, Kris has been the CEO and Managing Director of FRIGO LOGISTICS since October 2013, leading the company to become a market leader in frozen distribution in Poland through significant growth and restructuring initiatives. Previous roles include General Manager at Univeg Logistics Poland, where Kris achieved operational and organizational turnarounds, and Logistics Director for Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on temperature-controlled logistics. With a solid educational background in Applied Economics from the University of Louvain and Business School of Helsinki, Kris also worked as an ERP business consultant at Ferranti Computer Systems.
