In the past, Troy served as the Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where they were responsible for managing the department's $90 billion budget. Troy also held the position of Associate Deputy Under Secretary for Management in the same department.
Troy has served as a Board Member at Tenet Healthcare - Los Alamitos Medical Center and State of California - San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy. Troy was the CEO & President of Global Conductor, Inc.
Additionally, Troy has held public office roles as Mayor and City Councilmember at the City of Los Alamitos. Troy also served as Chairman and Board Member at the Orange County Sanitation District and as a Board Member at the Orange County Fire Authority.
Troy Edgar earned their MBA in Information & Operations Management from the USC Marshall School of Business from 1995 to 1998. Troy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the same institution, which they completed from 1990 to 1993. Troy recently obtained additional certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021.
