Joe Ewart is the current CEO of [Global Convergence](/org/global-convergence). Joe has also served as a Non Executive Director for Kip McGrath Education Centres and the Editure Group. Prior to their work in education, Joe spent 12 years in investment banking with Goldman Sachs JBWere and [Deutsche Bank](/org/deutsche-bank). In 2007, they co-founded AUSSIE Professional Development, an education company based in New York which was sold to [Generation Ready](/org/generation-ready) in 2012. Joe began their career as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1991.

Joe Ewart has a Master's degree in Management and Finance from UNSW, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the [University of Sydney](/org/university-of-sydney), and is a Fellow of Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australasia) with a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. Joe is also a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
