Anikó Zsebik has a diverse and extensive work experience. Anikó most recently worked as an Associate Director at Global Counsel, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate in the CEE, Russia, and Eurasia practice at Global Counsel, focusing on developments in various regions and advising clients in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and energy sectors.
Before joining Global Counsel, Anikó served as the Head of Press & Communications for Foreign Affairs at the Embassy of Hungary from September 2016 to September 2020. Anikó also worked as a Foreign Affairs and Trade advisor in the Cabinet of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary from August 2014 to August 2016.
In addition, Anikó had various roles at different institutions, including coordinating the Department of International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary from March 2014 to July 2014, serving as a National Expert in the Asia and Pacific Managing Directorate at the European External Action Service from October 2013 to March 2014, and working as a Desk officer for Germany and Switzerland at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hungary from January 2013 to September 2013.
Anikó's earlier experience includes being the Head of the Consular Office at the Embassy of Hungary in Japan from October 2011 to December 2012, working as a Desk Officer in the Department for International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hungary from September 2008 to September 2011, participating in the International Parliamentary Scholarship of the German Bundestag at Deutscher Bundestag from March 2008 to July 2008, and serving as a Desk officer in the Department for International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hungary from September 2007 to February 2008.
Anikó Zsebik completed their Master's degree in law from Eötvös Loránd University from 2001 to 2007. In 2004 to 2005, they received an Erasmus scholarship and studied International law, European Union law at Ghent University. Additionally, in 2003, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München to study International law and European Union law, although the degree obtained during that period is not specified.
