Benjamin Wegg-Prosser has a diverse work experience history. Benjamin started their career as a Research Assistant to Peter Mandelson in the Labour Party in 1995. Benjamin then worked as a Political Adviser to Peter Mandelson MP in the Cabinet Office from 1997 to 1998. Following this, they served as a Special Adviser to the Secretary of State in the Department of Trade and Industry for a brief period in 1998. In 1999, they joined Pearson as the Deputy Director of Communications before moving on to become the Publisher of Slate UK in 2000. Benjamin then worked at The Guardian in various roles, including Publisher of Politics in Guardian Unlimited, General Manager of EducationGuardian.co.uk, and Publisher of Society Guardian. In 2005, they joined the Prime Minister's Office as the Director of the Strategic Communications Unit. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Director of Corporate Development at SUP. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director at Global Counsel, starting in 2011.
