Amanda Barlow has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Amanda currently holds the position of Vice President of Risk Management & Business Affairs at Global Critical Logistics, where they provide leadership in managing insurance programs and developing global ATA Carnet programs. Previously, Amanda served as a Member of the Board of Directors at The Airforwarders Association, advocating for the freight forwarding industry. Amanda was also a District Export Council Member at District Export Council Southern California, contributing their expertise in international business. Amanda worked as an Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology and held leadership roles at Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. and Roanoke Trade, focusing on client experience and sales. Earlier in their career, Amanda held positions at USCIB-United States Council for International Business and OWIT-NY, where they managed marketing and development projects. Amanda also served as a Manager of Carnet Development at the United States Council for International Business.

Amanda Barlow completed their Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2005. Before that, they studied Communications and Public Relations at Universidad de Artes, Ciencias y Comunicación from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended The Grange School where they completed their high school education from 1992 to 1997. Amanda Barlow started their education at Durban Girls College from 1985 to 1992.
