Boon Hui has previously worked as a Consultant at Horus Security Consultancy Limited, Aspen Global Cyber Group, and TCG Ventures Pte Ltd. Khoo was also the Founder and CEO of Black Wall FZE, a cybersecurity company based in the United Arab Emirates.

Boon Hui has a strong commitment to education and training in the cybersecurity field. Khoo has served as a trainer at the Public Sector Training Institution Network and as a lecturer at St John's College, Oxford. Khoo is also a founding member of the CyberPeace Institute.

Khoo Boon Hui has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oxford in Engineering Science and Economics. Khoo also has a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School in Political Science and Government. Finally, they have an Advanced Management Program from The Wharton School.
