James Baker

James Baker has had a long and successful career in the technology and consulting industries. James began their career in 1977 as a Data Systems Technician in the US Navy, where they were awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for designing an improvement to a satellite communication system. In 1983, they joined Hughes Aircraft Company as a System Support Engineer, where they were responsible for overhaul and upgrade of Navy combat systems equipment. James then moved to HILEVEL Technology in 1985 as a Member of Technical Staff, where they developed hardware and software for embedded processor electronic test equipment. In 1989, they joined Electronic Data Systems as a Consultant Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for the start up of Asia Pacific Systems Engineering Center in Adelaide, Australia. James then moved through various roles at EDS, including Account Manager, Manager of Best Shore Consulting, and Client Delivery Executive. In 2007, they joined HP as an Account Executive and Sales Executive, where they were responsible for building sales plans and delivering revenue and profit targets. In 2012, they started their own consulting firm, James G Baker Management Consulting, where they specialized in decision and risk analysis, contract negotiation, sales and business planning. Finally, in 2020, they joined Global Enterprise Tech Resources, Inc as Vice President Sales & Marketing. At GETR, Inc they specialize in implementation and support for the Automotive Supplier and Manufacturing market segments.

James Baker attended National University from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
