Fabio Zoppi Barrionuevo, MBA, MSc, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation, energy transition, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving on the Comitê de Energias & Transição Energética at GVAngels since July 2018, Fabio supports investment decisions in the energy sector and is also a pro bono member of the GVAngels organization, which facilitates connections between investors and startups. As Head of Innovation & Corporate Venture at Grupo Safira, Fabio revitalizes innovation management, while also founding Circuito Energy Day, an initiative that fosters collaboration within the energy transition ecosystem in Brazil. Additionally, Fabio holds guest professor roles at both Universidade Estadual de Campinas and Universidade de São Paulo, imparting knowledge on digital entrepreneurship and transformation. As a mentor for various organizations, including the Associação Brasileira de Startups and TIM Brasil, Fabio leverages expertise to guide startups and students in navigating the entrepreneurial landscape. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Entrepreneurship from USP and an MBA from FGV EAESP, along with other significant academic credentials.
