Ergest NAKO is a seasoned professional in business development and community management, currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Verso Altima Group since July 2023, focusing on smart city initiatives. NAKO has extensive experience as the Acting Managing Director for Albania at Global Entrepreneurship Network since October 2016, where support for startups in becoming unicorns is prioritized. Notable prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at INET Albania, Community Developer Manager at Triplecity, and Director of Innovation & Digitalization at Albpetrol sh.a. NAKO has a strong background in community development, having worked as the Community Development and Support Manager at Protik Innovation Center, emphasizing collaboration among ecosystem stakeholders. NAKO's earlier experiences include business process management and project management in various sectors, along with implementation of an Information Security Management System at the National Bank of Greece - Albania.
