Sanjay G. Mungur

Sanjay G. Mungur is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and economic development. Currently serving as a Board Member at Mauritius Africa FinTech Hub and Chairperson of the Board at The10, Sanjay is also the Founder and CEO of FinClub, the first fintech startup in Mauritius to obtain a Peer to Peer Lending license. As the Chief Executive Officer of Empretec Mauritius, Sanjay leads initiatives in SME development and regional competitiveness. Additionally, Sanjay is the CEO of GMI Capital Partners and the Country Managing Director for the Global Entrepreneurship Network, working to enhance business ecosystems globally. With a background as the Founder and First President of the Angel Investors of Mauritius and longstanding experience as Managing Director of EMS Consulting, Sanjay has contributed to various international projects and policy developments aimed at improving investment climates and promoting sustainable business practices. A graduate in Production Engineering and Production Management from the University of Nottingham, Sanjay combines technical expertise with a commitment to fostering economic growth and innovation.
