Mike Maasen

Mike Maasen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in finance and mentorship. Currently serving as a Board Member for Platte Senior Services Fund, Mike contributes to initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Platte County. Mike also acts as a Career Mentor with Global FC, supporting foreign-born high school students in their transition to adulthood. As a long-time volunteer at the National World War I Museum and Memorial, Mike remains committed to community service. Previously, Mike held significant leadership roles at Helzberg Diamonds, including Divisional Vice President of Consumer Finance and Direct Marketing, where responsibilities included overseeing credit programs and ensuring effective training for store associates. Mike's earlier experience includes work as Divisional Vice President at Ferrellgas, Inc., and Manager of Customer Research. Mike holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Master of Science in Economics from Iowa State University.
